Brands have been screaming about why their product is better than others in the market. They are employing innovative storytelling, marketing and PR strategies. But consumer trust can no longer be won by using the words 'pure', 'organic', 'bilona', 'preservative-free', etc.

Consumers today are conscious about what they are eating, how their food is produced and distributed, and they also want to know about the carbon footprint that their food leaves on the environment and society. Traceability is the new trust.

In their amazon listings, brands have now started sharing lab reports and certificates. The latest trend is of spreading awareness and branding terminologies like A2, GC Passed, Pesticide-free, Glyphosate-free.

The struggle of sourcing good product is as real as communicating transparency.

Trends can get your consumer to buy once, but retention is brought by good product and trust.

With the daily reporting of adulteration in dairy products, it has become even more important for your sourcing team first to trace each batch they source, and brand the product for trust in the competitive markets.

At Grandsons' we have equipped our complete dairy supply chain, end-to-end, for real time data collection and reporting, and much more.

Dairy starts even before milk, at milk production. 'A2', 'Organic' and 'Pesticide-free' are a feature of the farm, the cattle, cattle feed and cattle health. Quality of milk is a reflection of breed, feed and care. Product adulteration beyond Oral Testing and Quality is reported through GC tests. Milk is tested at milk collection and then again at the facility on receipt. All consecutive steps of the supply chain are tracked for both quality and adulteration - the butter and then ghee.

The image is a screenshot of our Sourcing Portal that tracks Ghee through its entire production cycle. With each batch shipped by Grandsons', we do not just provide quality assurance, but give you the access of complete milk to ghee cycle, reporting lab tested parameters.

Every ghee batch comes with GC test. GC (Gas Chromatography) is complete fatty acid profiling, the only full-proof method to ensure purity.

We have brought transparency in our supply chain by onboarding farmers, milk collection centres and factories on our portal for real time data collection at all steps. This allows you to track milk sourcing. To keep a check on the quality of milk, we conduct surprise tests at the farmer level, and this information is also made accessible to you. You can view the sample portal here.

GRANDSONS' TRACEABILITY TOOL

While the sourcing portal is made for the sourcing team of your brand, the data is too heavy to make any sense out of it for your consumers.

We have built an analytics tool over the report to make it possible for your consumers to access traceability through a QR code on your product or even from your amazon listing.
